First mission priorities

• Explore with a repeatable evidence loop: read the room, collect or inspect clues, identify the blocked route, solve its puzzle, then plan movement past the threat. Sound and lighting are intentional warning systems, so sprinting through an unknown space can skip both a clue and the cue that makes the encounter survivable.
• Use the free Steam demo to learn interaction prompts, clue tracking, puzzle language, threat cues, and performance. It is a preview, not proof of the full game's final puzzle order or enemy behavior; keep any launch walkthrough bounded to the build actually played.
• Solve Cosmic Fear's puzzles from nearby evidence: search for clues, connect them to the blocked mechanism, and keep a retreat path while entering hostile spaces. The official material confirms deadly encounters but not combat dominance, so survival planning should take priority over assuming every threat must be defeated.
• Cosmic Fear is a new chapter in the same universe as The Land of Pain and The Alien Cube. For release order, play The Land of Pain first, The Alien Cube second, and Cosmic Fear third; the store does not state that completing the older games is mandatory, so new players can start here and use earlier games for added context.
