Isle of Reveries Copy and Spawn Guide
Use Lief's fairy companion to copy and spawn puzzle objects, test interactions and combine them with permanent items.
Answer first
Quick Answer
Copy an available object, identify the missing function in the room, then spawn the object where its collision, light, elevation or interaction can solve that specific need.

Quick Answer
The fairy companion can copy and spawn objects found in the world. Official examples include puzzle blocks, torches and mushrooms. Ask what the room is missing—light, height, collision, weight, cover or another interaction—then spawn a matching object where that function matters.
A Repeatable Method
- Observe: locate switches, gaps, enemies, hazards and unreachable ledges.
- Classify: decide what function is missing instead of focusing only on an object's appearance.
- Copy: use an object the game has actually made available.
- Place: move the spawned object near the target interaction.
- Combine: test the object with Lief's equipped key item or jump.
- Reset one variable: if it fails, change placement, timing or item—not everything at once.
Copying is not a substitute for the dungeon item system. Steam describes key items as useful in combat and puzzles even after their home dungeon, so later rooms may expect both systems. This is why a copied block that creates height may still need a permanent item to activate the next step.
When the Obvious Object Fails
Check whether the object is meant to affect an enemy or another object rather than the environment directly. Then test orientation and order: spawning before activating can behave differently from activating before spawning. The public description confirms broad interactions but does not publish a universal object list, capacity limit or exact solution sequence, so this page does not invent one.

Requirements
- Reach an object the fairy can copy
- Identify the room interaction to change
Steps
- 1
Observe
Identify whether the room needs light, height, a movable body, a trigger or a combat interaction.
- 2
Copy
Capture a useful object demonstrated by the environment rather than guessing at unavailable objects.
- 3
Spawn and test
Place it where its function changes access or state, then combine it with the current key item if needed.
Common Mistakes
- Spawning an object before identifying the missing function.
- Assuming copied objects replace permanent key items.
- Repeating the same placement without changing a variable.
