Verified guideSteamDB showed 11,069 concurrent Steam players, a 13,478 24-hour peak, and a 16,330 all-time peak when checked on August 31, 2026. Survival Mode is the mode where your group prepares for sustained zombie pressure instead of following a standard Objective scenario route. Official 1.0 material says players get time to prepare before zombies arrive at a consistent rate, with intensity changing by difficulty. Set up a defensible team plan, protect supplies, and use the live mode briefing for the current map-specific objective and extraction conditions.
