First mission priorities

• Begin by securing water and food, then craft the first gathering tools and place storage before traveling far from the cabin. Collect only the magical ingredients needed for the next recipe, sell surplus to merchants, and use Chill Mode if hunger, thirst, or hostile wildlife is obstructing the relaxed exploration you want.
• Standard survival tracks health, happiness, hunger, and thirst; Chill Mode is the official option for a more relaxed experience. Choose the mode by whether needs and danger are part of the desired challenge, then keep food, drink, shelter, and weather exposure ahead of exploration distance.
• Craft tools first because they unlock resource collection, then add storage and essential cabin furniture before decorative expansion. Learned recipes are part of progression; build around the current recipe list rather than assuming every object shown in promotional footage is available in the present Early Access build.
• Gather magical ingredients for a named potion or sale, not as an undifferentiated pile. Brew when the potion solves an exploration or survival need; trade surplus resources with merchants when the gold or missing material advances the next tool, recipe, or cabin upgrade.
