First mission priorities

  • Begin on Normal while learning stamina recovery and chain tension. In co-op, move as a pair before attacking so one player does not drag the other into danger; in solo, treat the chained ball as both an obstacle and a tool for tripping enemies or manipulating objects.
  • Havoc is the online mode for as many as four players bound by chain physics. Agree on a lead mover, count down jumps and narrow crossings, and stop attacking when the chain is pulling a teammate off line; coordination prevents more damage than rushing for one extra hit.
  • For local co-op, connect the required controllers before opening the local session, join each player from the lobby, and confirm every character responds separately before entering the tower. Steam lists full controller support, but exact mixed keyboard/controller combinations should be verified in the release build.
  • Single-player does not remove the Soul Chain: its free end is attached to a heavy ball. Move the ball before narrow routes, use its weight to control chain position, and avoid sprinting until the ball clears the same obstacle as the character.
