First mission priorities

Professions provide different skills, personalities affect how heroes get along, and success or failure can change skills during the run; cover physical, social, and supernatural approaches so one blocked path does not decide the contract.
• A dynamic narrative encounter is a choice with several routes whose success depends on the current party's skills, traits, health, and prior outcomes. Read every option before committing: the game is built around choosing between safer preservation and riskier payoffs, not finding one fixed walkthrough answer that always applies.
• The contract is the run's objective and it changes from mission to mission. Use it to decide whom to recruit and which risks are worth taking; planning matters, but the official design expects complications, so preserve at least one alternate skill route instead of spending the entire party on the first promising lead.
