As of September 1, 2026, Arcane Mage is the leading current Mythic+ ranged signal, Outlaw Rogue is a top melee option, and Arms Warrior leads the current raid-oriented guide signal. These are Patch 12.1 snapshots, not permanent class guarantees; key level, encounter profile, composition, and weekly tuning can change the order.
Verified guideHoly Paladin is the leading current Patch 12.1 Mythic+ healer signal because of priority healing and group utility. Raid healing remains composition- and encounter-dependent, so compare cooldown coverage and damage patterns instead of treating one Mythic+ rank as universal.
Verified guideBlood Death Knight is the leading current Patch 12.1 Mythic+ tank signal because of durability, self-sustain, grips, and group value. Raid value is encounter- and roster-dependent, so the best raid tank is a pair that covers required utility and mechanics rather than a universal solo winner.
Verified guidePatch 12.1 has different leaders by role and content: Arcane Mage is a leading current Mythic+ DPS signal, Blood Death Knight leads the current Mythic+ tank signal, and Holy Paladin leads the current Mythic+ healer signal. Raid rankings differ, so use the linked role pages for context and current verification.
