How to Get to the Coiled Isle in WoW Midnight

Coiled Isle Requirements

The account requirement is the first check. Blizzard states that an account which has not already started Curse of Ula'tek must have completed the main Midnight campaign on one character before beginning the 12.1 campaign.

That does not mean every character must repeat the full Midnight story. It establishes account eligibility. The character you use still needs an appropriate campaign state so the 12.1 starter and travel steps can appear.

Do not fly toward the island based on an old PTR map pin. Campaign progression controls access and phasing; following the active chapter is more reliable than forcing a physical route before the character is eligible.

1. Complete the account prerequisite. If Curse of Ula'tek has not been started on the account, finish the main Midnight campaign on one character.
2. Start the 12.1 campaign in Silvermoon. Track the highlighted Curse of Ula'tek chapter in the campaign log.
3. Finish the opening chapter progression. Complete the objectives in the order the live campaign presents them.
4. Follow the travel objective. Use the route or interaction supplied by the campaign when it sends you toward the Coiled Isle.
5. Complete the island introduction. Continue until the new zone phase and onward campaign progression are established.

Reaching the map boundary and completing the campaign unlock are not the same action. If the island loads without the expected NPCs or follow-ups, return to the active campaign objective and finish the phasing step.

Can Alts Access the Coiled Isle?

Alts benefit from account-wide progress, but account access and character quest completion remain different states. An alt may be able to reach the island while still having incomplete 12.1 chapters in its own campaign log.
